Open the hosted demo
The YuE2 repository and research website both link to the NOIZ-hosted demo. Follow that link for the service currently endorsed by the project. Availability, queues and sign-in requirements are controlled by the host.
This guide does not operate an inference service. You can prepare a prompt here, then use it at the host or on your own computer.
Listen with a question in mind
On the research demo page, start with a language you understand. Listen for consonants, repeated lines, transitions into the chorus and whether the ending feels complete. A polished first ten seconds can hide a weaker second verse.
Open the score and style prompt alongside a track. The score explains what YuE2 planned; the recording lets you judge how well it performed that plan. Cover and editing examples show a different use case from a fresh text-to-song request.
Prepare a small first experiment
- Write one short verse and a chorus using your own words.
- Choose one genre, a vocal character, a tempo and a few instruments.
- Generate a first version and keep the original prompt.
- Change one part of the brief, then compare both complete outputs.
The prompt builder keeps style instructions separate from lyrics. For an online service, copy the fields it accepts; the JSON download is intended for the official Python workflow.
When a local setup makes sense
Move to a local installation when you want repeatable settings, saved ABC scores or a workflow you can inspect. Start with hardware requirements. Using a cloud demo does not mean the underlying model runs in your browser, and each host has its own handling of uploaded material.
